The 11th Hour

In this blog I will write and review the documentary film  The Eleventh Hour.  The Eleventh Hour was created in 2007 and it is produced and narrated by Leonardo DiCaprio. The main focus of the film  The Eleventh Hour is to tell the world about what's happening with the earth's national environment.  The film interviews from many people, from all round the world. The Eleventh Hour deals with a lot of the earth's environmental issues. I want to focus on the environmental issue on our dependence of fossil fuels such as oil. Fossil fuels are not an renewable source of energy and with it's use increase the Co2 in our air. According to V.Jay said, that oil increases the Co2 levels, in which pollute not only the air bu the sea too. This film can be connected to the food system and the topics we talked about in class.  The food system uses fossil fuels not only for the  transportation of food but, also fossil fuels help make the plastic containers that many food comes in. The larger and more centralize the food system gets, the more oil we need to use to keep the system running.
